Dietitian Specialist


A reputable health care facility in Al-Malikiyah is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian Specialist to join our team. As a Dietitian Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert nutritional advice and support to patients with various health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients and developing personalized meal plans based on their individual needs and dietary restrictions
- Educating patients on healthy eating habits and the importance of proper nutrition for their specific health conditions
- Monitoring patients' progress and making necessary adjustments to their meal plans as needed
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care
- Maintaining accurate records of patient consultations, progress, and meal plans
- Staying updated on the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and incorporating them into practice
- Providing training and guidance to junior dietitians and other healthcare staff as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Dietitian in a clinical setting (preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility)
- Valid certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS)
- Proficiency in using nutrition assessment tools, such as BMI calculators and body composition analyzers
- Strong understanding of various medical conditions, medications, and their effects on nutrition requirements
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex nutritional information in simple terms
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Fluent in Arabic (both written and spoken), knowledge of Kurdish is an advantage
