IT Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Manager to oversee and manage our company's information technology systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the field of IT management, with a strong understanding of both hardware and software systems.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of our company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the efficient use of technology within the organization
- Manage a team of IT professionals, ensuring their skills are utilized effectively and that they are meeting project deadlines
- Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and policies to protect company data
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for system upgrades or changes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an IT management role
- Strong understanding of hardware, software, networking, and security systems
- Proven track record of managing successful IT projects from conception to completion
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively
- Biometric passport or willingness to obtain one for international travel

Location: Funchal (with accommodation provided)

Salary: $1300 per month (contract position)
