Head Chef - Indian Cuisine

We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our Indian cuisine kitchen team in Shan, China. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a variety of authentic Indian dishes, managing inventory and costs, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. You must have a strong background in Indian cuisine, including knowledge of traditional cooking techniques and ingredients. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute menus for our Indian cuisine restaurant
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production
- Manage inventory levels and control costs to meet budget targets
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with restaurant management on menu development, pricing strategies, and special events

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in an Indian cuisine restaurant
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine with the ability to create new dishes while maintaining authenticity
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Proficiency in managing inventory levels, controlling costs, and maintaining food safety standards
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Chinese is a plus)

We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month along with benefits. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term employment based on performance.
