Indian Executive Chef in Shan


We are in search of a talented and experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Shan. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating new menus, and maintaining high-quality standards for all dishes.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the kitchen staff, including cooks, prep chefs, and dishwashers
- Create new and innovative menus that showcase traditional Indian cuisine with a modern twist
- Monitor food quality and ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation guidelines
- Oversee inventory management and purchasing of ingredients to maintain budget and quality control
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures
- Collaborate with management to plan special events or promotions featuring Indian cuisine
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, flavors, and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food costs and ability to create cost-effective menus without compromising quality
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this position.

Location:
This is a seasonal job located in Shan. Accommodation can be provided for the duration of the contract.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position. Culinary school degree or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
