Pastry Chef
Our restaurant in Sofia is in search of a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating a variety of delicious pastries, desserts, and baked goods for our menu. This position requires excellent skills in baking, decorating, and presentation, as well as knowledge of various pastry techniques and ingredients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Create new and innovative pastry dishes to add to the menu.
- Decorate pastries using various techniques such as glazing, piping, and icing.
- Ensure high quality and consistency in all pastry items produced.
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies needed for pastry production.
- Train new staff members on pastry techniques and recipes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to create unique and visually appealing desserts.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely production of pastries.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is preferred.
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 900$ per month. Additional benefits may be provided based on experience.
Location:
This position is located in Sofia, Bulgaria. While preference will be given to Indian candidates who speak English fluently, we welcome applicants from all nationalities who meet the requirements.
