Front Desk Concierge

As a Front Desk Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests at a luxury hotel in Salalah. Your main duties will include greeting and checking in guests, making reservations, and providing information about the hotel and local area. You will also assist with arranging transportation and other services for guests, handle guest complaints, and maintain a clean and organized front desk area.

The ideal candidate for this role is a friendly and outgoing individual with strong communication and customer service skills. Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required as training will be provided. As this position involves interacting with guests from diverse backgrounds, fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of other languages such as Filipino is a plus.

This is an entry-level position that does not require previous experience or accommodation as it includes housing provided by the employer. In addition, visa sponsorship will be provided for non-local candidates. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and check them into their rooms
- Respond to guest inquiries about hotel facilities, services, and local area attractions
- Make reservations for dining, activities, spa services etc.
- Assist with transportation arrangements for guests
- Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of front desk area
- Keep track of room availability using hotel software systems
- Upsell hotel services to guests when appropriate
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Proven customer service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed
- Friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel software systems is a plus
- Non-local candidates must have a valid visa or be eligible for visa sponsorship
