Part-Time Crane Operator

As a Part-Time Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining cranes on a part-time basis in Almada. Your main duties will include safely lifting and moving heavy materials, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and communicating with team members. You must have a valid crane operator certification and previous experience operating cranes. This is a part-time position, with potential for increased hours based on business needs.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes, including mobile and tower cranes, to lift and move materials
- Conduct pre-operational checks to ensure equipment is in safe working condition
- Monitor weather conditions and adapt operations accordingly
- Communicate with team members to coordinate movements and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Inspect equipment regularly and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate records of crane usage, maintenance, and repairs
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:
- Valid crane operator certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating cranes
- Familiarity with different types of cranes and their functions
- Ability to read blueprints and operate crane controls accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy loads
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1200 per month (based on part-time hours)

Location: Almada, Portugal
