English Tutor

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate English Tutor to join our team in Eldoret. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one or small group instruction to students of varying ages and levels. Your main goal will be to help students improve their English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop custom lesson plans and materials based on each student's needs and learning style
- Assess students' current level of English proficiency and track their progress over time
- Provide regular feedback and support to help students achieve their language learning goals
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to make lessons interesting and effective

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching English as a second language
- Excellent knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and other aspects of the English language
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds
- Patient, creative, and enthusiastic about teaching

This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month. Accommodation will be provided for non-local candidates. The ideal candidate should have a biometric passport or be willing to obtain one.
