Job Title: Hotel Sales Manager
The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing efforts of a hotel in Nizwa. They will develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy, revenue, and profitability. This position requires a high level of communication and negotiation skills, as well as strong leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets
- Identify potential clients and develop relationships to secure business
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends
- Collaborate with other departments to create packages and promotions
- Attend trade shows and networking events to promote the hotel
- Monitor sales performance and create reports for management
- Train and motivate the sales team to achieve their goals
- Negotiate contracts with clients and ensure all terms are met
- Maintain a strong relationship with existing clients to encourage repeat business
- Participate in budget planning for the sales department
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales management role
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and market trends
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional language is a plus)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
