Junior Accountant


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing team in St. Petersburg, Russia. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate or have 1-2 years of experience in accounting. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month, and we welcome applications from Indian nationals.

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks such as preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and processing invoices. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with senior accountants to gain valuable experience and develop your skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements
- Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
- Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions
- Communicating with clients regarding their accounts
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or relevant internship experience
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Fluency in English (Russian language skills are a plus)
