Data Analyst
Location: Almada, Portugal

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting large datasets to uncover insights and inform business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and develop analytical solutions to support their objectives. Your role will involve developing and maintaining databases, creating reports and visualizations, and conducting statistical analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics, experience with data mining tools and techniques, and excellent communication skills. This position offers a salary of 1500$ per month and includes accommodation for out-of-town candidates. This job is open to students who have the required experience.

Data Analyst Responsibilities:
- Collecting, organizing and cleaning large datasets from various sources
- Conducting data analysis using statistical methods
- Creating reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs
- Developing databases to store and manage data effectively
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement through data analysis
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Proficiency in SQL for database management
- Experience with data mining tools such as Python or R
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Prior experience working remotely is a plus
