Office Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Assistant to join our team in Bungoma. This is a contract position that offers a salary of $1300 per month, with accommodation provided for foreign candidates. The ideal candidate will have experience in office administration and must be able to communicate effectively in English.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general office duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining office supplies
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars
- Conduct research and compile data as needed
- Prepare and maintain documents, reports, and presentations
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files
- Assist with basic accounting tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, and budget management
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations within the office
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration is preferred
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English (fluency in other languages is a plus)
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with basic accounting tasks is preferred but not required
