Crane Operator

As a Crane Operator in our company, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining crane equipment to lift, move, position, and reposition materials, equipment, and structures. You will work closely with the construction team to ensure safe and efficient operation of the crane while adhering to all safety protocols. This role requires strong communication skills as you will be responsible for communicating with the ground crew and other operators via radio or hand signals.

Requirements:
- Valid crane operator license
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating cranes in a construction setting
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and diagrams
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions

Responsibilities:
- Operate crane equipment safely and efficiently according to company policies and procedures
- Perform daily maintenance checks on the crane before use
- Inspect rigging equipment for any signs of wear or damage
- Communicate with ground crew and other operators via radio or hand signals
- Lift, move, position, and reposition materials using the crane as directed by the construction team
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Keep accurate records of materials lifted and moved by the crane
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise with the crane during operation

We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month for this position. This is a contract job with potential for long-term employment based on performance. Accommodation can be provided if needed.
