Preservation Architect
We are in need of a talented Preservation Architect to join our team in Eschen. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving historical buildings and structures while also ensuring they meet modern safety and building codes. This is an urgent position, so we are looking for someone who can start immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine preservation needs
- Creating preservation plans that balance the original design and materials with modern functionality and safety standards
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to implement preservation plans
- Overseeing preservation projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and accuracy throughout the process
- Conducting research on historical architecture, materials, and techniques to inform preservation decisions
- Inspecting and monitoring ongoing preservation work to ensure compliance with plans and standards
- Keeping detailed records of all preservation projects and maintaining accurate documentation for future reference
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Preservation Architect
- Knowledge of historical architecture, materials, and techniques
- Familiarity with modern building codes and safety regulations
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Valid license to practice Architecture in Eschen
Salary:
