Job Title: Fitter and Maintenance Technician


We are seeking a skilled Fitter and Maintenance Technician to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other specifications. In this role, you will also be responsible for conducting regular maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Assemble and install machinery according to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary repairs
- Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as needed
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and equipment efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- Technical knowledge of mechanical systems
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Physical stamina for lifting heavy objects

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this position.
