A reputable surveying firm in Los Angeles is seeking a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys and preparing accurate plans and reports for various projects. This is a contract position with a starting salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys using various instruments to determine property boundaries, topography, and other features of the land
- Prepare accurate land survey reports and drawings utilizing AutoCAD software
- Review project specifications and plans to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to provide accurate information for construction projects
- Perform calculations and computations related to survey data
- Keep detailed records of survey data, including notes, sketches, and electronic files
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to provide updates on project progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Land Surveyor
- Proficient in AutoCAD software
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment
- Familiarity with local laws, regulations, and codes related to land surveying
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
