Sous Chef
As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the head chef in all aspects of the kitchen operations. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure the highest quality of food is being prepared and served to our customers. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced individual with a passion for cooking and creating delicious dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the head chef in menu planning and developing new dishes
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper techniques and procedures
- Ensure that all food safety standards are being met
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area at all times
- Adhere to company recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a sous chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team setting
- Excellent communication skills in English (Filipino language skills are a plus)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train others
- Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent)
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary:
$1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location:
Triesen, Liechtenstein (candidates from the Philippines are preferred)
