Carpenter for Construction Company in Eschen, Egypt



Our construction company is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Eschen, Egypt. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood and other materials. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares or marking gauges
- Cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, power tools or machines
- Shape and smooth surfaces using hand planes, chisels, sanders or other tools
- Assemble and fasten materials together using various methods including nailing, screwing or gluing
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings and trim based on blueprints or instructions from supervisors
- Inspect structures to ensure they are properly installed and meet required specifications
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged parts or reinforcing weak areas
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following company policies and procedures

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Carpenter in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Physically fit with good manual dexterity and an eye for detail
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Biometric passport preferred but not required (company can assist with obtaining one)
- Egyptian nationality preferred but not required (open to all nationalities)
- Fluent in Arabic (spoken) is required; basic English skills preferred but not required

Salary: $1700 per month
