We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our library team in Remish, Canada. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our collection of books and other resources, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and promoting library services to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and organize library collection including cataloging, shelving, and weeding materials
- Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries in person and online
- Plan and implement engaging programs and events to promote reading and library services to the community
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop new collections and services that meet the needs of our diverse community
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies to enhance library services

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Prior experience working in a library setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of library systems, databases, and cataloging techniques
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patrons of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
