An established manufacturing company in Eldoret is seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in our production process. You will work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure smooth operation of our equipment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role and possess strong technical knowledge of instruments. Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain instruments such as sensors, transmitters, controllers, and analyzers.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise with instruments or control systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with engineering team to identify opportunities for improvement in processes or equipment.
- Train new employees on proper use of instruments and safety procedures.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Diploma or certification in instrumentation or related field preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with programming languages used in instrument control systems (e.g. PLCs).
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
