Indian Executive Chef in Los Angeles
An upscale restaurant in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Indian Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and authentic Indian cuisine, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Create and develop menu items that showcase traditional Indian flavors and techniques
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events and promotions related to Indian cuisine
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations, ingredients, and cooking techniques
