Radio Technician


Our growing radio station in Eldoret is seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our broadcast equipment, ensuring that our station stays on air 24/7. We are looking for an individual with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively. This position is suitable for men with or without experience, and offers a competitive salary of 1700$ per month with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair any technical issues with our broadcast equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on all radio equipment
- Install new equipment as needed
- Monitor signal strength and quality
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the station

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with radio broadcasting equipment preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of electronic components and circuitry
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of local language is a plus)
