We are a publishing company based in Faro, seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team on a contract basis. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text and images for various print and digital publications. Your attention to detail and knowledge of design principles will ensure that our publications are visually appealing and error-free.

Responsibilities:
- Receive written content from authors and editors
- Format text according to design guidelines
- Arrange images, graphics, and other visual elements in a visually appealing way
- Proofread content for accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure high-quality final products
- Stay updated on industry trends and technology advancements in typesetting

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Knowledge of typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Familiarity with design principles and layout techniques
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
