Caregiver for Elderly in Faro, Portugal



We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Caregiver to provide support and assistance to elderly individuals in Faro, Portugal. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for helping with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders. This is a part-time position with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedule
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Help with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up living space
- Accompany clients on appointments or errands as needed
- Monitor changes in client's health and report any concerns to appropriate medical professionals or family members

Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience working as a caregiver or similar role
- Compassionate and patient nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
- Must have valid work permit or Portuguese citizenship/residency
- Must be physically able to assist with lifting/moving elderly clients if necessary

Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
