Facade Engineer
As a Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the external building envelope of structures in Faro. You will work closely with architects and other engineers to ensure that the facade is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and structurally sound. Your expertise in materials, construction techniques, and building codes will be essential in creating safe and efficient facades. You will also be responsible for managing budgets, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring that projects are completed on time.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and creating facades for buildings using various materials such as glass, metal, and stone
- Conducting structural analysis to ensure the facade can withstand wind loads, seismic activity, and other environmental factors
- Collaborating with architects to ensure the facade aligns with the overall design aesthetic of the building
- Developing detailed drawings and specifications for construction teams to follow
- Conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure construction is following plans and specifications
- Managing budgets and ensuring projects are completed within budget constraints
- Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals involved in the project
- Keeping up-to-date with new materials, techniques, and building codes related to facades

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Facade Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of materials used in facade construction such as glass, metal, stone, etc.
- Familiarity with structural analysis software
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively
- Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, suppliers, and other professionals involved in the project
- Strong understanding of building codes related to facades
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one for international travel.

Salary: $1200 per month (contract job)
Location: Faro, Portugal (accommodation not provided)
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
