Construction Manager

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team in Almada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and project management, with excellent leadership and communication skills. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, from planning and budgeting to executing and supervising the work. You will work closely with our team of engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and up to quality standards. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$, open to candidates without prior experience or accommodation. However, candidates must have their own visa to work in Almada. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers looking to begin their career in construction management.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee construction projects from start to finish
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals
- Prepare project timelines, schedules, and budgets
- Monitor progress and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Address any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with building codes
- Hire and manage construction workers
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any concerns or issues
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding project updates

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, codes, and regulations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Proficient in project management software (e.g. Primavera P6)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and make decisions
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
