Female Librarian

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Female Librarian to join our team in Multan. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library collection, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and maintaining the overall organization of the library.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize all library materials including books, periodicals, audiovisual materials, and digital resources.
- Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries by providing guidance on how to use library resources effectively.
- Develop and implement programs and activities to promote literacy and encourage reading among patrons.
- Maintain accurate records of library materials borrowed and returned by patrons.
- Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum-related activities and assist students in locating appropriate resources for assignments.
- Keep up-to-date with new trends in library science and technology to enhance library services.
- Create displays and exhibits to showcase new acquisitions or promote special events.
- Oversee the maintenance of the physical space of the library including shelving, furniture, equipment, etc.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
- Previous experience working as a librarian or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with diverse populations.
- Familiarity with library cataloging systems and database management.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
