Back-End Developer

As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the back-end of our web applications. You will work closely with front-end developers, project managers, and other team members to ensure that our applications are efficient, scalable, and secure. Your main duties will include writing clean and efficient code, creating APIs for front-end consumption, and integrating data storage solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of server-side languages such as Java or Python, as well as experience working with databases and web servers. Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing efficient back-end solutions for web applications
- Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Creating APIs for front-end consumption
- Maintaining code integrity by implementing testing protocols and conducting code reviews
- Troubleshooting issues reported by users or team members
- Integrating data storage solutions such as databases or cloud services
- Ensuring application security by implementing user authentication and authorization protocols
- Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong understanding of server-side languages such as Java or Python
- Experience working with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and web servers (Apache, Nginx)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript)
- Knowledge of security protocols (e.g. OAuth)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
