Contract Fitter in Faro, Portugal


We are seeking a skilled and reliable Contract Fitter to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Contract Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing large mechanical components such as pipes, pumps, valves, and motors. This position is suitable for men and does not require prior experience.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine assembly procedures
- Measure and mark pipes according to specifications
- Cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes using various tools and equipment
- Install and connect pipes to pumps, valves, motors, and other mechanical components
- Test installed systems for leaks or malfunctions
- Follow safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe work environment
- Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus
- Previous experience as a fitter or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and assembly techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Proficient in using hand tools such as wrenches, saws, drills, etc.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month. Additional benefits may be offered based on performance.
