Crane Operator


We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our growing team in Lom. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of cranes to move and lift heavy materials on construction sites. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
- Read and interpret load charts to determine safe crane capacities
- Inspect equipment before use and maintain proper maintenance and safety checks
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals, radio, or other forms of communication
- Safely rig loads for lifting using appropriate equipment
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a crane operator
- Valid crane operator certification or license
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
- Strong understanding of load charts, rigging techniques, and crane operations
- Ability to communicate effectively with ground crew using hand signals or radio communication
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends if required

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience operating different types of cranes such as hydraulic, crawler, or rough terrain cranes
- Knowledge of basic mechanical principles for troubleshooting minor equipment issues on site
