Android Developer - Vilnius, Lithuania

We are searching for an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Vilnius and work on exciting mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Android development and be able to work independently on projects. They should also have experience with contract jobs and be comfortable working with accommodation, free visa and ticket options. This role is open to both Canadian nationals as well as English speaking individuals looking for opportunities in the technology industry. Freshers are also welcome to apply, as long as they meet the required experience level. Responsibilities:
- Develop, test and maintain Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in mobile development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Android development
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language and Android SDK
- Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing iOS applications
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as Swift or Kotlin
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or Travis CI

Salary:
This is a contract position offering a salary of 1100$ per month.
