Experienced Painter in Porto, Portugal



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team in the vibrant city of Porto, Portugal. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and other finishes to various surfaces, using a variety of techniques and tools to achieve high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling in cracks or holes
- Choose appropriate paints and finishes based on surface type and desired outcome
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- Ensure proper coverage and smooth finish without drips or streaks
- Use masking tape and drop cloths to protect surrounding areas from paint splatters
- Clean and maintain all tools and equipment used for painting
- Communicate with clients to understand their vision and provide recommendations on colors and finishes

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Painter, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
- In-depth knowledge of painting techniques, tools, materials, and safety practices
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently without compromising quality
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members
- Ability to follow instructions closely while also being creative in problem-solving situations

Additional Preferences:
- Previous experience working in residential or commercial settings is preferred
- Experience working with wall coverings such as wallpaper or stucco is a plus
- Knowledge of different painting styles such as faux finishing or decorative painting is an asset

Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Porto, Portugal
