Smelter Operator - Mombasa, Kenya


As a Smelter Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by operating and maintaining smelting equipment to produce various metal products. Your responsibilities will include monitoring temperatures and pressures, adjusting controls as needed, and ensuring the quality of the final product. This is a contract position located in Mombasa, Kenya with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a smelter operator
- Knowledge of smelting processes and equipment maintenance
- Ability to work in high temperatures and physically demanding environment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
- Biometric passport (for foreigners)

Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment according to established procedures and safety standards
- Monitor temperatures, pressure levels, and flow rates to ensure proper operation of equipment
- Adjust controls as needed to maintain desired production levels and quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on smelting equipment and report any malfunctions or issues to maintenance team
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace
