Welder (Contract Position)

City: Almada, Portugal



We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team on a contract basis in Almada, Portugal. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to fabricate and repair metal structures. The ideal candidate will have a biometric passport and be physically fit to perform manual labor in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project specifications
- Set up and operate welding equipment according to safety protocols
- Perform various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick) on different types of metals
- Inspect welds for quality assurance and make necessary repairs
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within given deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Welder in an industrial setting
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Physically fit to perform manual labor in an industrial setting
- Biometric passport preferred

Salary:

The salary for this contract position is $1200 per month.
