Indian Barista in Nairobi

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Indian Barista to join our team in Nairobi. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages to our customers. You will also be in charge of maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages based on customer preferences
- Educate customers about different types of coffee beans, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Keep the coffee shop clean, sanitized, and well-stocked at all times
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments using the cash register
- Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for customers
- Handle any customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly
- Ensure all food safety regulations are followed when handling food items
- Collaborate with other team members to create new drinks or promotions

Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a Barista or similar role
- Knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and techniques
- Familiarity with sanitation regulations and food safety practices
- Good communication skills in English (additional language skills are an advantage)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, or during peak business hours
