Tiler for Contract Work in St-Petersburg, Russia


We are in need of an experienced Tiler to work on a contract basis in St-Petersburg, Russia. As a Tiler, your main responsibility will be to install and repair tiles on various surfaces such as floors, walls, and ceilings. You will be working with a variety of materials including ceramic, stone, and marble, so knowledge and experience with different tile types is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
- Cut tiles to fit around obstacles and corners
- Prepare surfaces by leveling and cleaning them
- Mix mortar or adhesive and apply it evenly onto surfaces
- Set tiles in place and apply pressure to ensure they adhere properly
- Create decorative patterns using different colored tiles
- Grout tiles to fill in gaps between them
- Clean up work area after job completion

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tiler (minimum 2 years)
- Proficient in using tiling tools such as cutters, levels, and trowels
- Knowledge of different tile types and their characteristics
- Ability to read blueprints or other design plans
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and kneeling for long periods of time
- Attention to detail for precise placement of tiles

Preferred:
- Nationality: Pakistani or Nepali (due to visa restrictions)
- No English language skills required (basic Russian would be beneficial)
- Experience with contract work or working on construction sites
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1500$ per month. Accommodation will also be provided during the duration of the contract.
