Entry Level Quality Assurance Engineer


We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Entry Level Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Atlanta. As an Indian national or someone with a strong preference for Indian culture, you will have the opportunity to work in a diverse and inclusive environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing various tests and checks on software products to ensure they meet quality standards. This includes writing and executing test cases, reporting and tracking defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues. You will also assist in creating and maintaining testing tools and processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for software quality, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. While prior experience is not required, candidates with relevant coursework or internships in software testing or quality assurance are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and design test cases accordingly
- Execute manual tests on software products and document results
- Report defects in a clear and concise manner, including steps to reproduce
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify resolutions
- Assist in creating automated test scripts using testing tools
- Continuously improve testing processes by identifying areas for optimization

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Experience using programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1800 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Atlanta, but remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.
