Radio Technician


As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support for various radio systems. This position requires a strong understanding of radio technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure radio equipment in accordance with client specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing radio systems
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise with radio equipment
- Provide technical support to clients regarding their radio systems
- Keep accurate records of all installations and repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times
- Stay current on advancements in radio technology through ongoing training and professional development

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in electronics is preferred
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively
- Strong knowledge of radio technology and equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit and able to work at heights or in confined spaces if necessary

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1300$ per month.

Location:
This job is located in Mombasa, Kenya. Applicants from India are preferred due to language proficiency requirements. However, all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of nationality.
