Industrial Alpinist
City: Almada, Portugal


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Alpinist to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at great heights using specialized equipment and techniques. Your primary duty will be to provide support to workers in difficult-to-reach areas, such as high-rise buildings, bridges, and other structures.

Responsibilities:
- Perform rope access work on various industrial sites
- Inspect and maintain equipment before each use
- Install and dismantle scaffolding and rope systems
- Safely transport tools and materials to work areas using ropes or hoists
- Conduct safety checks and risk assessments before each task
- Assist with the installation of safety nets, guardrails, and other fall protection systems
- Clean and maintain work areas after completion of tasks

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Industrial Alpinist or similar role
- Certification in industrial rope access techniques (IRATA or SPRAT)
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to working at heights
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Contract:
This is a contract job with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Visa:
The candidate must have their own valid visa for working in Portugal.

Nationality:
This position is open to all nationalities.
