Heavy Equipment Operator


We are hiring a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Almada. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders to move materials and complete tasks at construction sites.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment according to safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow
- Follow construction plans and instructions provided by supervisors
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures on site
- Keep accurate records of materials moved, hours worked, and any incidents or accidents that occur

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in a construction or similar environment
- Valid heavy equipment operator license or certification
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this contract position. Accommodation will also be provided for the duration of the contract.
