Computer Support Specialist


As a Computer Support Specialist in our fast-paced and dynamic company, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for computer systems, software, and hardware. Your main goal will be to ensure the smooth functioning of our computer systems and networks, as well as provide timely and effective solutions to any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support via phone, email, or in person to employees experiencing computer system issues
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems and determine appropriate solutions
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, and peripherals as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all technical support requests and resolutions
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement system upgrades or new technology initiatives
- Train employees on basic computer functions and usage of company-specific software
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve our systems

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar role
- Knowledge of computer systems, networks, hardware, software applications and protocols
- Ability to diagnose problems remotely or in person using diagnostic tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented approach
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, Windows operating systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

Location:
This position is based in Almada but we are open to applicants from other locations who are willing to relocate. We also offer opportunities for remote work.
