Librarian for a Pakistani International School in Dickirch

We are searching for a highly qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team at a prestigious Pakistani International School located in Dickirch. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for literature and education, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize the school library, ensuring all materials are properly cataloged and easily accessible
- Plan and implement library programs, such as book clubs or reading challenges, to promote literacy among students
- Help students with research projects, providing guidance on how to find reliable sources and properly cite information
- Collaborate with teachers to incorporate library resources into lesson plans
- Stay up-to-date with new books and resources, making recommendations for purchases based on student interests and curriculum needs
- Maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment in the library that encourages students to explore their interests through reading

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a librarian in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of library systems, cataloging techniques, and reference resources
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Urdu is a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others
- Passion for promoting literacy and fostering a love for reading among students

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Dickirch, Luxembourg.

Visa/Travel:
The school will provide free visa sponsorship for the selected candidate. Additionally, the school will cover the cost of one round-trip ticket from Pakistan to Luxembourg.

Accommodation:
This is a full-time position without accommodation provided. However, the school can assist with finding suitable housing options near the campus.
