Junior Pastry Chef

We are seeking a talented and passionate Junior Pastry Chef to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Junior Pastry Chef, you will assist in the creation of delicious and visually appealing pastries and desserts for our restaurant. You will work closely with the Head Pastry Chef to develop new menu items and ensure that all pastries are prepared to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and production of various pastries, cakes, and desserts
- Follow recipes and guidelines provided by the Head Pastry Chef
- Ensure that all pastries are presented in an attractive manner
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the pastry kitchen
- Collaborate with other members of the culinary team to create new menu items
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month, based on experience.
