Junior Land Surveyor

As a Junior Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting senior surveyors in collecting and analyzing data to determine the precise location and measurements of land features. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for land surveying and a desire to develop their skills in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior surveyors in conducting field surveys using specialized equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and drones
- Measure and record accurate data and prepare reports for analysis
- Use computer software and manual calculations to compute exact measurements and create maps
- Help identify boundaries, property lines, easements, and other important information related to land surveys
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency in surveying projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in land surveying or related field preferred but not required
- Knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, and software
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain
- Strong mathematical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1200 per month.
Location:
This is a contract job located in Eldoret, Kenya. Preference will be given to Indian candidates, but all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.
