Java Developer


We are hiring a skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic team in Almada. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining Java-based applications. You should have a strong understanding of software development principles and be able to work both independently and collaboratively with team members.

Responsibilities:
- Designing, coding, testing and debugging software applications
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Writing clean, efficient code that adheres to industry standards
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in existing software systems
- Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the development process

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Java development
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language and object-oriented design principles
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with web services (SOAP, REST)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Spring Framework
- Knowledge of JavaScript and front-end frameworks (React, Angular)
- Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
