Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team in Almada. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex software applications, ensuring their scalability, reliability, and performance. You must have at least 5 years of experience in Java development and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. In addition, you should be familiar with Agile methodologies and possess strong problem-solving skills. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test and debug complex software applications using Java
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing codebase
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the software applications
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve our products

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary: $1400/month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Almada, Portugal
