Pastry Chef - Triesen, Liechtenstein
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at our prestigious Triesen location in Liechtenstein. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of delicious pastries and desserts for our customers. Your main goal will be to provide high-quality, visually appealing and tasty treats that will exceed our guests' expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of pastries, including cakes, cookies, pies, tarts, and breads
- Create new and innovative pastry recipes while also following traditional recipes
- Decorate pastries using various techniques and artistic skills
- Ensure all pastry products are presented in an attractive manner
- Maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene at all times
- Oversee inventory management to ensure availability of ingredients and supplies
- Collaborate with other chefs to design menus that incorporate pastries
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Creative flair and passion for pastry making
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time-management skills
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and methods
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Availability to work flexible hours
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Culinary school degree or certification in pastry making preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef
Salary: $1000/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Triesen, Liechtenstein (relocation assistance may be provided)
