Data Analytics Specialist

As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to identify patterns and trends, and provide insights to inform business decisions. You will work closely with the data engineering team to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Your role will involve developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. In addition, you will be expected to stay updated on the latest tools and techniques in data analytics and make recommendations for their implementation. This is a contract position based in Porto, with a salary of $1200 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze large datasets using statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Work closely with the data engineering team to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate findings and recommendations
- Stay updated on the latest tools and techniques in data analytics
- Make recommendations for the implementation of new tools or processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide actionable insights
- Communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages used for data analysis
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods and techniques
- Experience working with large datasets using SQL or other database systems
- Ability to create visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings in a simplified manner
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Data Science or related field
- Experience working in the technology industry or other fast-paced environments
