Network and Systems Administrator

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's network infrastructure, hardware, and software systems to ensure the smooth operation of our organization.

Key responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability
- Manage network security measures to protect against cyber threats
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on servers, operating systems, and applications
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues as they arise
- Develop backup and disaster recovery plans
- Provide technical support to employees regarding network connectivity and system usage

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as Wireshark or SolarWinds
- Knowledge of server virtualization technologies (VMware)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
