Junior Android Developer


We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Android Developer to join our team in Akron. As a Junior Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those with limited experience to gain valuable hands-on experience in the fast-growing field of mobile development.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs in existing applications
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Ensure code quality by following best practices and coding standards
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in mobile development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong understanding of the Android SDK, Java, and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1800/month (negotiable based on experience)
